Quintiles Selects ePRO Provder

Quintiles and Invivodata, Inc. have entered a collaboration agreement for patient reported outcomes (PRO) solutions and services for global clinical research. The collaboration combines Invivodata’s PRO consulting, technology, and service solutions with Quintiles’ comprehensive clinical services, to provide integrated processes and deliverables in an effort to reduce study complexity and cost throughout all phases of drug development.

“Our collaboration with Invivodata will provide handheld technology that drives high patient compliance and meets the needs of the ever-evolving regulatory guidelines. After a thorough evaluation, we found Invivodata’s combination of science-based methodologies and innovative technology coupled with a collaborative approach to partnering in global support services to be a complement to Quintiles’ strategic vision for PRO,” said Paula Brown Stafford, executive vice president, Integrated Clinical Services for Quintiles.

“Quintiles’ vision for the implementation of eClinical solutions continues to deliver tangible value to study sponsors. We are very excited to formalize what has been a mutually beneficial collaborative effort over the past few years. With our ongoing innovation around ePRO technology and the growing demand for our PRO consulting services, we see a nice fit into Quintiles’ approach to serving customers, and we view this relationship as a key step in driving the ePRO market forward,” commented Doug Engfer, co-founder and chief executive officer of Invivodata.
